A supportive community wellbeing conversation
SUPPORTING EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING

Mental Health & Wellbeing

We promote mental health awareness, caring community support and responsible referral relationships while recognising the essential role of qualified professionals.

DIGNITY. CARE. PRACTICAL ACTION.

Communities where people can speak, connect and seek help

Mental wellbeing affects individuals, families and entire communities. Stigma and isolation can prevent people from seeking support, so our role begins with compassionate awareness, encouragement and safe community connection.

Foundation wellbeing activities may include awareness initiatives, non-clinical peer support networks, encouragement programmes and partnerships that help people identify appropriate professional services. Foundation volunteers do not replace qualified medical or mental health professionals.

Where someone may be in immediate danger or crisis, emergency and specialist services in the person’s location should always be contacted.
